"Les Petits Princes" is a
non-profit organisation, run by volunteers. Parents
participation is strongly encouraged to create a unique
friendly atmosphere during this little window of French
in the childern's week.
Les Petits Prince is the only French school in Brisbane
part of the After
Hours Ethnic Schooling program and provide community
language classes outside regular school hours..
Our aim is to provide educational and cultural programs
in French, in accordance with the guidelines of Education
Queensland.
Who are the classes aimed at?
The courses are aimed at all children
from 4 to 12 years of age, who may already speak some
French or who would like to, whatever their nationality
or origins.
About half of the school is attended
by non french background families. Classes are run
by a mixt of experienced teachers and native french
speakers.
Where and when are the classes?
The classes take place at in the N Block
of the Bribane Boys Grammar School, Gregory Terrace,
Brisbane, 4000
on Saturday morning from 9.30
to 11.30 am
A break allow to share an healthy morning
tea (brought by the parents) and allow to change activities
with other children outside of the classrooms.
More relaxed activities conclude the morning
after the break to respect the children's ability to
focus.
